Meeting Your Civil Rights Concerns

Civil rights violations offend the notions of justice.  That's why, when a client's civil rights are violated, we take it to heart.  Since opening our doors in 2007 our attorneys have helped our clients use the legal process to become whole again after being treated wrongly.  Below is a list of our more common work.  We invite you to contact us to see how we can help you with your civil rights matter.

Disability Discrimination

Federal legislation, like the ADA, as well as state laws require accommodations at various levels including in the workplace, entities using government funding, and in public places.

Employment Discrimination

Title VII of the Civil Rights Act protects classes of individuals with certain specified characteristics from discrimination in the workplace.  These characteristics include race, color, national origin, sex, and religion.  Recently added to this through caselaw is sexual orientation and gender identify.  Employers are prohibited from discriminating against these individuals with regard to term, condition, or privilege of employement.

Prisoners' Rights

The U.S. Constitution prohibits cruel and unusual punishment to inmates and pre-trial detainees.  Prisoners' conditions, including medical care, can run affoul of this protection upon proving that an inmate was purposefully denied minimal civilized measure of life's necessities.
